올해의 니콘 코미디 야생동물 사진상 공모전 마감까지 한 달을 남겨두고, 주최 측은 더 많은 사진작가들이 참여할 수 있도록 지금까지의 최고의 새 출품작들을 공개하고 있습니다. 재미있는 출품작들에는 작은 도마뱀이 손을 흔드는 모습, 스타일리시한 코뿔소 등이 포함되어 있습니다.

현재까지 니콘 코미디 야생동물 사진상에는 전 세계 사진작가들로부터 천여 개의 출품작이 접수되었습니다.

“올해도 코미디 야생동물 팀과 함께 일하게 되어 큰 영광입니다. 사진의 힘을 통해 보존 노력에 대한 중요한 인식을 생성하는 데 헌신하는 환상적인 파트너들입니다,”라고 니콘 유럽 마케팅 수석 총괄 매니저 스테판 마이어가 말했습니다. “니콘 코미디 야생동물 사진상에 참가할 수 있는 한 달밖에 남지 않았습니다. 지금까지의 모든 재미있는 출품작들을 보는 것이 즐거웠고, 다음 달에는 더 많은 출품작들을 기대하고 있습니다.”

코미디 야생동물 사진상은 2015년 프로 사진작가 폴 조인슨-힉스 MBE와 톰 설람에 의해 야생동물 사진의 밝은 면을 기념하기 위해 공동 설립되었습니다. 이들은 재미있는 야생동물 사진이 야생동물 보존 노력을 촉진할 것이라고 믿었으며, 실제로 그렇게 되었습니다. 최근 몇 년과 마찬가지로 코미디 야생동물은 전 세계 남반구의 보존 지도자와 프로젝트를 지원하는 영국 기반 자선단체인 휘틀리 자연 기금(WFN)과 파트너십을 맺었습니다. 30년 동안 WFN은 80개국의 220명의 보존가에게 2,300만 파운드를 지원했습니다.

예년과 마찬가지로 니콘 코미디 야생동물 사진상은 무료로 참가할 수 있으며, 아마추어와 프로 사진작가 모두에게 열려 있습니다. 최고의 사진작가는 케냐 마사이 마라에서 알렉스 워커의 세리안과 함께하는 일생일대의 사파리 여행과 탄자니아 다르에스살람의 원더 워크샵에서 제작한 수제 트로피를 받게 됩니다. 다른 수상자와 대중의 선택 수상자에게는 니콘 Z6 III 및 Z50 II 카메라 키트, 씽크탱크 가방 등이 추가로 제공됩니다. 또한, 니콘 코미디 야생동물 사진상 수상작들은 12월 런던의 Gallery@Oxo에서 전시될 예정입니다.
